About Mariana

What do you need most when facing a legal challenge? Clarity and someone who truly listens.

That’s exactly what Mariana delivers. Whether you’re navigating a complex business dispute, or dealing with litigation concerns, Mariana brings a calm, strategic presence and a proven record of success to every case. Recognized as a 2025 Rising Star by Super Lawyers, she is known for turning uncertainty into clear, actionable outcomes.

Mariana’s journey began in Guadalajara, Mexico, and continued in the Boston area after immigrating with her family. Her deep commitment to justice and equity led her to earn degrees in Political Science, History, and Social Work before graduating from Vermont Law School in 2021. There, she was a Social Justice Mission Scholar, a published author on environmental justice, and a leader in student government and Latinx recruitment, doubling Latinx enrollment during her time.

Her legal experience is both broad and deep. Mariana clerked for the Washington Court of Appeals and externed with the Washington Supreme Court Commissioners Office. She has worked with Earthjustice and a D.C.-based litigation firm, gaining hands-on experience in appellate law, environmental law, and complex litigation.

Today, Mariana focuses on helping clients resolve disputes in business, personal injury, and land use law. Her clients appreciate her thoughtful approach, her ability to simplify complex legal issues, and her unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible outcome.

Outside the courtroom, Mariana mentors aspiring attorneys through Hermanas in the Law, Latinicidad, Inc., and The Appellate Project. She also volunteers with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), Aldea PJC, Amnesty International, and the Tacoma YMCA Mock Trial Tournament.

Mariana lives in Puyallup with her husband and cats. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, biking, snowshoeing, gardening, playing and watching fútbol, exploring farmers markets, collecting national park mugs and bumper stickers, and practicing Pilates.
