Biography
Lisa Kremer’s practice focuses primarily on estate planning, probate, and guardianship. She particularly enjoys working with families to try to resolve issues with a minimum amount of stress and turmoil. Lisa also advises businesses, particularly on trademark, copyright and privacy issues, including HIPAA compliance.
Lisa began her professional career as a journalist. She was an award-winning reporter for The News Tribune. In 2005 she decided to move from writing about people’s problems to helping solve them. She commuted from Tacoma to the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle and graduated in 2008.
Lisa is a Trustee of the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, a member of the Executive Committee of the WSBA’s Elder Law Section, and a Trustee of Tacoma Arts Live. Lisa also is a member and past president of the Pierce County chapter of Washington Women Lawyers, a member of the National and Washington Academies of Elder Law Attorneys, a member of the Tacoma Estate Planning Council, and an active alum of Mills College. Lisa was awarded the 2018 “Distinguished Service Award” from the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association. She is a member of the firm’s pro bono committee and was awarded the firm’s “Service Excellence Award” in 2014 for her work to promote pro bono efforts in Pierce County. She and her family volunteer for The Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County. She lives in Fircrest with her two daughters, cats, guinea pig and a changing roster of foster kittens.
