BIOGRAPHY

Mitch grew up in Mukilteo, just north of Seattle, and graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He then obtained his paralegal certification, which he used to work as a paralegal for a litigation firm in Pullman, Washington, and then for the Whitman County Prosecutor’s Office.

In 2022, he graduated magna cum laude from The University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison, Wisconsin. While at Wisconsin Law he served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Wisconsin Law Review and both competed in and coached the law school’s moot court team at the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition. He also worked for two years as a student associate for the Wisconsin law firm West & Dunn, where he worked in civil litigation and veteran benefits, and also represented clients pro bono in the university’s Criminal Appeals Clinic. Mitch has experience in a variety of areas in both civil and criminal litigation, ranging from personal injury, insurance litigation, land use, business and contract disputes, administrative litigation, and appeals.

In 2021, Mitch married his college sweetheart, Erika. They now live in Tacoma with their two dogs. Mitch enjoys hiking, golfing, snowboarding, and playing guitar. He is also a lifelong Seahawks and Mariners fan, and you can now catch him at Rainiers games well!
