Biography
Molly Kling Crowley has handled a variety of personal injury cases over her twenty-year legal career. She is an aggressive and compassionate lawyer who advocates for the equitable resolution of her clients’ cases.
Molly was born and raised in Tacoma and is a proud alumnus of Stadium High School and the University of Washington. She returned to Tacoma to practice law after graduating from law school in Virginia in 1999. While in law school, Molly served as a summer law intern in the practice area of insurance defense. After being admitted to the Washington State Bar Association, she started as an attorney in the same practice area, defending insurance companies and their insureds from personal injury lawsuits, while also representing those injured by the negligence of others. In approximately 2004, Molly began to devote her practice to representing injured persons and their loved ones.
Molly represents clients in matters involving automobile collisions, semi truck accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. She recognizes that her clients are already dealing with enough as they get medical treatment for—and adjust their lives to—their injuries. They should not have to worry about how their medical bills will be paid, how their lost income will be covered, or how their pain and suffering will be fairly compensated. For those who have lost a loved one due to another’s negligence, it can be especially difficult to manage all of these concerns. Injured victims have turned to Molly for compassionate advocacy over the last twenty years.
As a trial lawyer, Molly believes she has a unique opportunity to assist her clients through difficult times, applying her skills and experience to help them obtain civil justice. She likes to be personally available to her clients and is passionate about her work. She recognizes that her clients have struggled with difficult challenges and understands it can be difficult to accept their lives have changed—sometimes forever—through no fault of their own. Seeing her clients’ relief and satisfaction upon the successful resolution of their cases is truly rewarding, as it is sometimes the first step in moving on with their lives.
In addition to serving her clients in her law practice, Molly has served in various roles in the legal and greater community. She was Vice President of the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Foundation Board, which helps fund the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association (TPCBA)’s Volunteer Legal Services Program, which supports other programs and projects providing legal services and public legal education in Pierce County. She also served as a Board Member and President of the TPCBA’s Young Lawyers’ section, and as a member of the TPCBA’s Judicial Qualifications Committee. Molly was Vice-Chair of the Women of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), and served on WSAJ’s Continuing Legal Education Committee and Legislative Steering Committee. She is a current member of the TPCBA and the American Association for Justice, and is an Eagle member of WSAJ.
Outside of the legal community, Molly has served as President and Secretary of Lowell Elementary School PTA and Vice Chair of Alchemy Skateboarding, a non-profit organization that uses skateboarding to assist and develop Tacoma’s youth. She is also a booster club member at her children’s public school.
Molly loves spending time with her kids, as well as skiing, running, gourmet cooking, and doing The New York Times crossword puzzle.
