BIOGRAPHY
Keara is an associate attorney and member of the firm’s Trust and Estates group. Her practice focuses primarily on estate planning, estate taxes, gifts, healthcare directives (living wills), powers of attorney, prenuptial agreements, probate, revocable living trusts, and wills.
She grew up in Longview Washington and graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Washington University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. In 2022, she graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. While in law school, she represented clients pro bono in the university’s Elder Law Clinic. She continued this work at a boutique firm in Spokane, assisting clients with elder law-based estate planning, Medicaid compliance, and veteran benefit appeals. During law school Keara obtained a position at a firm in Olympia, assisting clients with taxable estate planning, lifetime gifting, and business planning. She practiced there until 2024, when she joined GTH.
Now Keara enjoys living back on the Westside of the state where she is closer to family. She enjoys spending time with her partner and their dog. She also enjoys creating fiber art, listening to podcasts or music, dabbling in technology, and micro-learning.
