We’re thrilled to share a major success led by our colleague Peter Durland, who recently secured a unanimous decision from the Snohomish County Council in favor of our client, Pacific Ridge Homes. This marks a significant milestone in a complex land use project that has been years in the making.
The project involves the development of 1,311 dwelling units and 61,000 square feet of commercial space. It encompasses a range of planning components, including a Planned Residential Development subdivision, official site plan, preliminary subdivision, Urban Residential Design Standards administrative site plan, and a Single-Family Detached Unit site plan.
After a favorable decision for our client from the Hearing Examiner, the matter was appealed to the County Council. Peter represented the client at the hearing, and the Council unanimously adopted the Examiner’s recommendation.
This case has also drawn public attention. You can read more in the news coverage here: Snohomish County Council denies latest Eastview Village appeal.
Congratulations again to Peter for this outstanding result and for representing the firm with such skill and professionalism.
