About Chelsea

Chelsea Rauch is a senior associate in GTH’s Labor & Employment Law group, advising both employees and employers of all sizes across industries on a comprehensive range of legal issues

impacting employment, from hiring through separation. Chelsea partners with clients to advise on discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims; wage and hour issues; matters related to federal, state, and local leave laws; reasonable accommodation requests and the interactive process; disciplinary and separation decisions; and contractual drafting and interpretations. She also provides workplace trainings for employees; drafts and reviews company policies and procedures; drafts and advises on employment-related contracts and negotiations; and conducts internal investigations on legal matters that impact the workplace.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Chelsea worked in politics at the local, state, and federal levels. She later transitioned this experience to a role in public affairs, where she developed and executed communications strategy for some of Washington’s largest tech firms and non-profits, lending the skills needed to pair legal advice with risk management and brand reputation strategies for clients. She has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in employment law each year that she has been in practice.

Outside of the office, Chelsea enjoys gardening, traveling, and exploring Seattle parks with her husband, son, and mini Schnauzer.
