We are pleased to share a major success by our colleagues Darrell S. Mitsunaga and Antonio Gonzalez who recently secured a unanimous decision from the Blaine City Council in favor of our client, Semiahmoo Highlands LLC, approving its Avista at Birch Point Planned Unit Development and Preliminary Plat and SEPA determination.  The project involves the phased development of 181 acres into 490 residential units along with minor commercial development and other associated uses.  After an extensive five-day hearing in which numerous challenges were raised, the Hearing Examiner issued a favorable decision for our client and the Council unanimously adopted the Examiner’s recommendation.
