Wage and Hour Claims

The attorneys at Gordon Thomas Honeywell provide advice to employers on compliance with a wide variety of issues under federal and state wage and hour laws. These issues include, for example, understanding when an employee may be paid on a salaried-exempt, rather than hourly rate basis; how to properly compute overtime compensation when an hourly employee receives other forms of compensation, such as commissions and bonuses; compliance with meal and rest period requirements: and understanding the rules regarding payroll deductions.
